Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2026-09-19
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every customer, provider, account, Device, API key, Task, input, output, and other use of Common Compute. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service and Provider Agreement.
Use only workload, model, runtime, and input combinations that the current catalog offers. A catalog listing does not override a license, rights notice, geographic restriction, account control, or a hold shown by the Service.
2. Unlawful and harmful activity
You may not use the Service to commit, facilitate, conceal, or meaningfully enable unlawful conduct, fraud, coercion, exploitation, harassment, credible threats, or violence. You may not create, solicit, possess, or distribute child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving a minor, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
You may not use the Service to impersonate a person or organization, deceive a person about material synthetic media, or use a person's voice, face, likeness, identity, or biometric information without the rights, consent, and disclosures required by law.
3. Systems, credentials, and safeguards
You may not attack, scan, probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass Common Compute, a provider, a model, a payment system, or another person's system except where applicable law expressly permits testing that cannot be restricted. Authorized security testing must stay within the written scope and rules provided by the system owner.
You may not submit malware, credential theft, destructive payloads, exploit tooling intended for unauthorized compromise, or instructions designed to evade security, lease, rate, workload, model, identity, geographic, spend, billing, rights, or safety controls.
4. Sensitive and high-impact use
Do not submit secrets, authentication material, financial-account data, health data, children's data, export-controlled data, or other regulated or highly sensitive data unless the specific offered Service and a signed agreement expressly permit it.
Do not use output as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, health, safety, criminal justice, or legal rights. You are responsible for qualified human review, required notices, testing, and appeal procedures.
5. Intellectual property and model terms
You may not infringe or misappropriate copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights; remove rights management information; or use a model, dataset, codec, voice, image, music, video, or runtime contrary to its license, model card, or Service instruction.
You may not scrape, extract, train on, benchmark, convert, cache, redistribute, or make model or runtime artifacts available except as the offered Service and applicable license expressly permit.
6. Geography, sanctions, and export controls
The beta is available only to United States-based customers and providers. You may not misstate or conceal location, identity, ownership, payment destination, end use, or other information to evade sanctions, export controls, blocked-party rules, or the Service's geographic boundary.
7. Provider-specific restrictions
A provider may process assigned work only through the approved Provider Software and signed manifests. A provider may not inspect, copy, retain, disclose, sell, train on, benchmark, or reuse Customer Data; fabricate or replay work; manipulate usage or results; or enable Apple system-framework, private or undocumented framework, reverse-engineered ANE, arbitrary remote-desktop, or research-only workloads.
8. Review and enforcement
Common Compute may refuse, pause, quarantine, cancel, delete, or preserve a request or artifact; limit an account; hold an unpaid earning or disputed amount; or report a matter when reasonably necessary for safety, security, rights, sanctions, law, payment integrity, or contract enforcement. Automated signals support review but are not, by themselves, a legal determination.
When practical and lawful, we will provide the affected account with a reason and an opportunity to respond. Immediate action may be required to protect a person, data, a system, evidence, or a legal obligation. Mandatory rights are not waived.
9. Reporting
Report suspected abuse, illegal content, security concerns, or rights issues to contact@commoncompute.ai. Include the account, job, artifact, or receipt identifier; the nature of the concern; your authority or rights; and only the minimum content needed for review. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment credentials, or unrelated personal data.
